Kia Ora whānau, tamariki and kaiako,
My name is Susann (Susi), and I was born and raised in Germany, where I taught as an ECE teacher since 2014. My husband, two children and I moved to Aotearoa in March 2022, which we call our new home now. We love to spend our days outside, like going to the beach, waitakere ranges or just for a little walk.
I’m a qualified & registered teacher in the Pukeko room, and I am also leading our teaching team. I believe that all tamariki carry a treasure just waiting to be discovered. As kaiako I want to encourage children to voice their opinion, make them self-confident and provide a safe environment for them to thrive. As a lead teacher, I believe teacher’s well-being is the foundation for our collaborative work!
